Last week, our 1st Period Apprentices had an outstanding opportunity to tour the Phillips 66 Wood River Refinery and gain firsthand insight into one of the region’s most impressive industrial facilities.
The apprentices were treated to a detailed presentation explaining the refining process, giving them a deeper understanding of how crude oil is transformed into the products that power our everyday lives. Experiences like this help connect classroom instruction with real-world industry, providing valuable knowledge that will benefit them throughout their careers.
