Bethalto – Ciera Mason Wofford, age 28, of Bethalto, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at her residence. She was born on October 20, 1995, in Maryville, Illinois, the daughter of Michelle Jane Williams of Edwardsville. Ciera worked as a boilermaker out of Local 363 in Belleville, IL. Besides her mother she is survived by a brother, Damon Ray Wofford of Florida, sister, Cheyenne Hubbard of Collinsville, IL; grandparents, Bonnie & Michael Williams of Edwardsville, Donna & Ron Woebling of Camdenton, MO; aunt, Brandy Viessman & husband Rob; uncle, Shane Williams & wife Victoria; and cousin, Theodore Williams.
Ciera was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wood River, IL, & the Boilermakers Union Local 363 in Belleville. She loved her two cats and her bearded dragon Theo. She also loved to be outside fishing.
A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville. A committal service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2024, at the Roselawn Memory Gardens Chapel in Bethalto, with Rev. David Schultz officiating.
